Ability to mark and report DRC's as acceptable.
Description:
There are many times when it is difficult and time consuming to get rid of DRC's that really aren't DRC's. Should be able to walk through all the DRC's, like the SKILL program does, then mark the ones you deem acceptable. The tool should the log those and recognize them as acceptable DRC s so that the next time DRC is run they are not reported or displayed unless the user specifically asks for them.

Description:
When using area contraints on a pwb the values set within them are applied thru the board within that area. Why can't the rules set within these areas be applied to specific layers?

Ability to output an Adobe PDF File directly from Allegro.
Description:
I would like to output an Adobe PDF File directly from Allegro either from File > Export menu or have an option inside of Allegro_Plot to generate a PDF file instead of sending the output to a plotter. Other companies like Innoveda currently output, text searchable PDF Files from their schematics and it does not require a license from Adobe.

Padstacks need to model slots correctly.
Description:
Allegro padstack editor does not handle slots at all. Should have the ability to put a ncroute path for the slot in the padstack.

DRC Checking for Silkscreen.
Description:
Currently we must use Valor or ADI to ensure that our designs are correct. Silkscreen on a solder pad causes a bad solder joint and the tool should be able to report this.

Allegro Skill Form Editor
Description:
Would like to have access to Skill form editing tools similar to the one that used to be available in release 12 and prior.

Incorporate Drill Tolerance Information inside of the Padstack.
Description:
Associate Drilled Hole Tolerance information to drilled holes in the Pad Editor. Ability to edit/modify Drilled Hole Tolerance information at the board level. Change Drill Chart software to address tolerance information automatically. Change nctape software to separate same size holes that have different hole tolerances. Tolerance information should be listed in a new column in the nctape.log file.

Better import support for 274X Gerber.
Description:
Allegro has a lot of difficulty reading in 274X gerber from other CAD systems.

One step solution for copying elements (lines text) across subclasses while leaving original elements.
Description:
Why can't I copy lines/text from one layer to another? For example: lets say I want to copy a set of lines from my silksceen/top to the assembly/top. I have to duplicate and move the lines on the silk
then I can change the subclass to assy/top but there is no simple way to do it in one fell swoop.
